How the recommendation works
Four things decide the ranking. Fit is how much of your desk the screen takes up — roughly half to two-thirds looks and works best, and anything wider than the desk is ruled out with the exact shortfall. Viewing angle is how wide the screen appears from where you sit, judged against the range that suits what you do: a 27 inch at 65 cm is about 49°, which is comfortable for desk work and a little narrow for gaming.
Ergonomics checks that the top of the screen is not above eye level and that the stand leaves room for a keyboard. Sharpness uses pixels per degree rather than pixels per inch, because how sharp a screen looks depends on how far away you are as much as on its resolution.
